Everywhere we go people stop to look at Arthur, poke him a little and, more often than not, take his picture. He, being the joyful baby he is, is all smiles all the time. I don't like people to take his photo but people can be pretty sly with their mobile phones. I also don't like it when people ask if they can hold him. It makes me feel awkward--like if I say no I'm mean. But, I do say no and I tell people not to take a picture. Today, however, while having lunch a girl asked if she could hold him and there was a bit of confusion between Xavier saying no and me looking from him to her. In any case, she got hold of him and he made some new friends. And, this time, I got to take the photos.
